What is Noggin?
Noggin brings together a suite of AI-powered tools designed to make learning more efficient, interactive, and personalized. It’s being built to help you spend less time preparing study materials and more time understanding them.
Starting with your own course material, Noggin will create flashcards and practice questions with space repetition. A voice tutor will help you talk through difficult ideas, explore connections, and turn those conversations into new material to review.
As you study, Noggin will use your performance and questions to highlight gaps in your understanding and guide what to practice next. Along the way, you’ll earn new companions and card cosmetics to make the experience your own.
Create
Noggin will create high-quality flashcards and practice questions with images, diagrams, and a strict adherence to the uploaded material. Questions can also be tailored to directly mimic uploaded examples. Spend less time creating and more time learning!
Converse
Stuck on a card or question? You’ll be able to talk it through with a speech-to-speech tutor that has the card’s context. Afterward, Noggin will offer to turn your questions and the explanations into new flashcards for you to review and add.
Connect
Each deck will have its own interactive knowledge graph built from your uploaded material. After each session, Noggin reviews your performance and the questions you asked to map your understanding. Navigate between related ideas, find weak points, and create flashcards for those concepts.
Collect
Noggin allows you to earn while you learn. Your study habits will earn you points to unlock new companions to customize your tutor and additional cosmetics to customize your cards.

How will the flashcard reviews work?
Noggin will use spaced repetition: revisiting material over time, with more frequent reviews for cards you find difficult. Generating the cards takes care of the preparation; you’ll still do the studying.
How will Noggin learn what I find difficult?
The plan is to use your review performance and the questions you ask the tutor to identify concepts that need more attention. Between sessions, that information will help update your concept map, give the tutor context about earlier difficulties, and guide new cards and practice questions. Cards suggested from a conversation will be offered for you to review and add.
What can I study with it?
Noggin is being designed to accommodate a wide range of subjects, from high school through graduate-level courses. Your own course material will provide the foundation, so your study experience can adapt to what you’re learning and the level you’re studying at.
When can I try it?
Noggin is on pace for release in early 2027. Before then, we may invite select people on the waitlist to try a beta or preview version.
What do I get from joining the waitlist?
You’ll unlock exclusive cosmetics when Noggin launches and receive updates on the app and its release. Select waitlist members may also be invited to try a beta or preview before launch.
